Job Description Join a dynamic construction and development firm based in Indianapolis, renowned for their ground-up multifamily residential projects. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead luxury apartment complex projects in suburban markets, focusing on efficient, high-quality construction. Your role will involve guiding projects from start to finish, with an emphasis on mentoring junior staff and upholding the company's values of teamwork, humility, and collaboration. Responsibilities
- Lead multifamily residential construction projects from inception to completion.
- Mentor and support junior staff including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Manage subcontractors and resolve construction issues.
- Oversee construction budgets and participate in pre-construction activities.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Travel to job sites monthly for project oversight and meetings.
- Collaborate with developers and internal teams on project execution.
- 5 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up multifamily construction.
- Recent experience in multifamily projects (near 150250 units preferred).
- Full lifecycle project management experience (start to finish and ground up).
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring junior staff.
- Experience with construction budgeting and subcontractor management.
- Willingness to travel monthly for site visits and/or meetings.
- Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday.
- Background check clearance.
- Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project (preferred).
- Experience in senior living construction.
- Degree in Construction Management.
- Safety certifications or field experience.
- Mixed-use or Podium construction expertise.
- OSHA 30 certification.
