Senior Construction Project Manager

Join a dynamic construction and development firm based in Indianapolis, renowned for their ground-up multifamily residential projects. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead luxury apartment complex projects in suburban markets, focusing on efficient, high-quality construction. Your role will involve guiding projects from start to finish, with an emphasis on mentoring junior staff and upholding the company's values of teamwork, humility, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily residential construction projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor and support junior staff including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Manage subcontractors and resolve construction issues.
• Oversee construction budgets and participate in pre-construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Travel to job sites monthly for project oversight and meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and internal teams on project execution.

• 5 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in ground-up multifamily construction.
• Recent experience in multifamily projects (near 150250 units preferred).
• Full lifecycle project management experience (start to finish and ground up).
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring junior staff.
• Experience with construction budgeting and subcontractor management.
• Willingness to travel monthly for site visits and/or meetings.
• Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday.
• Background check clearance.

• Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Project (preferred).
• Experience in senior living construction.
• Degree in Construction Management.
• Safety certifications or field experience.
• Mixed-use or Podium construction expertise.
• OSHA 30 certification.

This role is primarily in-office with flexible hours, typically 4045 hours per week. Monthly travel to job sites is expected, with expenses covered including lodging, meals, and transportation. The company provides a credit card and travel booking support. Additionally, you can look forward to participating in company events such as groundbreakings and team outings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
