Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This dual-role position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of managing both the financial and operational aspects of plumbing projects. Responsibilities
- Estimate blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages.
- Track and manage estimate revisions and project budgets.
- Oversee plumbing projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Prepare and process change orders.
- Pull permits and ensure compliance with local codes.
- Review submittals and create plumbing plans as needed.
- Communicate with clients and contractors to ensure project success.
- Support executive leadership with operational tasks.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in estimation.
- Proven experience in plumbing estimating and/or project management.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, construction processes, and local codes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have a proven track record of estimating success.
- Ongoing training from current estimators and ownership, tailored to experience level.
- Accuracy in estimating profitability, time, materials, and overall job success.
- Early guidance will be provided to ensure alignment.
