Skilled Carpenter / Finish Woodworker (Project-Based)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable tradesperson with experience in finish carpentry and interior woodwork. Ideal candidates will have expertise working with tongue and groove shiplap (cedar or MDF), live-edge wood, decorative paneling, and shelving.

Key Responsibilities:

Install interior wall cladding: tongue and groove, shiplap, and decorative wood panels

Fabricate and install custom shelves and wood vanities (live edge, natural finish)

Prep, sand, stain, and finish wood materials

Build and install wood panels on various substrates, including exterior surfaces

Apply waterproofing, furring strips, and rain barriers as needed

Qualifications:

Proven experience in finish carpentry, wall cladding, and wood finishing

Ability to read plans and follow design intent

Knowledge of wood installation on interior and exterior surfaces

Cabinet-making experience is a plus

Must have own tools and reliable transportation

Available to work during standard construction hours (MonFri, 7am6pm)

Compensation:
Pay is project-based and commensurate with experience.
