Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:
One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school and at least four (4) years of progressively responsible experience related to the maintenance of heavy and light equipment and vehicles; or
An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Class C Driver's License.
Valid CA Class B Commercial Driver's License (Manual Transmission), with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsements, preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Maintain and service heavy equipment including dozers, graders, and trucks
• Perform field repairs and safety inspections
• Fabricate parts, weld, and complete light bodywork
• Keep accurate maintenance records and manage parts inventory
• Support shop upkeep and equipment transport
