Small Orange County Electrical Contractor is hiring! Were a growing, electrical service company based in Orange County. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Journeyman Service Electrician to join our field team and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Install or replace wiring, switches, outlets, light fixtures, and other electrical components with precision and safety
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards (e.g., National Electrical Code, OSHA)
Capable of managing concurrent projects and ensuring timely coordination and completion of all related tasks
Proficient in working within a computerized environment, utilizing software such as Microsoft Office, Gmail, and other relevant applications to support daily operations and communication
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes
Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by adhering to company policies, industry standards, and relevant local codes
Ensure a clean and well-organized workspace to minimize hazards, enhance job efficiency, and maintain a professional company image
Qualifications:
Valid California Journeyman Certification
2 years of experience in service work or similar role
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid California drivers license and an acceptable driving record
