Were seeking an experienced and detail-driven Cast-in-Place Concrete Superintendent to lead the field operations for commercial parking garage construction projects. This role is ideal for a superintendent with deep knowledge of heavy concrete placement, multi-level formwork systems, and garage-specific design challenges.
Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate form setting.
Plan and execute daily on-site operations, ensuring efficient and precise concrete work.
Lead and supervise a crew, delegating tasks to maintain productivity and quality.
Ensure proper placement of reinforcing steel, concrete pours, and finishing operations.
Oversee job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to formwork, concrete placement, and site operations.
Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, and job diaries.
Keep strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in structural cast-in-place concrete form setting.
MUST speak Spanish (English is a plus but not required).
Proven leadership experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in concrete construction.
Strong knowledge of formwork systems, concrete materials, and finishing techniques.
Experience managing subcontractors and direct-hire workforce.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications to ensure proper execution.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices in construction safety.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required.
