Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a General Laborer for Asphalt Plant Operations, Greer, SC and surrounding areas, The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.
Job Details:
- Wages start at $21.00hr, starting wage based on experience.
- Fulltime/Permanent
- Day Shift
- Weekend work may be required
- Night Shift may be required
- Travel between Asphalt Plants may be required

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of Front-End Loader and other machinery as required.
- Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
- Perform general labor task, assist with plant cleanup and plant maintenance
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 1 year of loader operator experience preferred.
- Previous fixed plant maintenance or related industry experience is required.
- Experience working with asphalt plants, conveyors, and screens is required.
- Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding is a plus.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
- Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
- Valid drivers license.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen.
