Architect/Designer - Residential

Design/Build residential remodeling firm in business for over 35 years has an immediate opening for a Designer/Architect to join our design team.

Looking for someone with demonstrated experience designing residential work in a 'design-build' format. Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of CAD Modeling software platforms essential (Revit, Chief Architect, AutoCad), and willing/able to learn new software packages a must. Must have a general understanding of basic residential design principles, residential construction techniques, and residential building codes. Ability to handle multiple projects and a great attitude is essential, as is your ability to effectively communicate with others and stick to schedules!

Job responsibilities include:
- Working in collaboration with the design team to implement designs from Schematic Design through Construction Documents
- Measuring existing houses and creating existing 'as built' models
- Creating conceptual, schematic models and drawings for client review
- Incorporating client feedback into revised designs
- Creating drawing sheets for use in contract documents
- Creating construction documents for County Building Permits
- Must be willing to learn new CAD software packages
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules and delivering high-quality work.
- Must be open to working within our proven system to design high-quality renovations that meet our clients needs and expectations.
