Welder/Fabricator

Hilfiker Pipe Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone with a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication using standard metalworking techniques.
Operate hand grinders, torches, lathes, milling machines, and various hand and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints to assemble components to specification.
Diagnose and repair production machinery and equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Physical Requirements:
Stand for up to 8 hours/day.
Lift and carry up to 100 lbs. over distances up to 100 ft.
Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
Repetitive hand use, power grasping, and fine manipulation.
Work may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, outdoor conditions, and machinery.

Preferred Qualifications:
23 years of welding/fabrication experience.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift operation experience is a plus.
