Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and rebuilding motors, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing diagnostics on a variety of equipment including loaders, dozers, and skid steers. This role requires experience with diagnostics and transmission, as well as the ability to rebuild hydraulic pumps. You will be provided with all necessary tools and a laptop, and you will need to be proficient in relevant software.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and rebuild motors on heavy equipment.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance, including hydraulics, greasing, and diagnostics.
+ Repair equipment such as loaders, dozers, and skid steers.
+ Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
+ Rebuild hydraulic pumps.
+ Utilize provided tools and laptop for maintenance and repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance repair.
+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Skilled in welding and preventive maintenance.
+ Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics.
+ Experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with motor and transmission repair.
+ Routine maintenance experience with farm machinery.
+ Mechanically inclined with forklift repair skills.
