Panel Builder**
**Job Description**
The Electrical Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial electrical control panels for machinery and equipment. This position requires basic electrical knowledge to ensure panels are assembled accurately, meet quality and safety standards, and are ready for integration into production equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electrical control panels, enclosures, and junction boxes according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
+ Perform basic wiring and terminations for switches, relays, fuses, circuit breakers, and PLC components.
+ Inspect wiring and connections for accuracy and functionality using basic testing tools such as a multimeter and continuity tester.
+ Follow all company safety policies, electrical standards, and OSHA regulations during panel assembly.
+ Assist with troubleshooting and correcting wiring issues during assembly or testing.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper handling of tools and materials.
+ Communicate progress and any issues to the Electrical Lead or Shop Manager to support production schedules.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in electrical panel building or a related field.
+ Experience in wiring and troubleshooting various manufacturing equipment.
+ Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, and circuitry.
+ Knowledge of relevant safety standards and electrical codes, such as NEC and UL standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Skills in schematic reading, blueprint analysis, hydraulic systems, machine building, preventive maintenance, pneumatics, electrical assembly, and PLC troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with 3-phase electrical wiring and moto systems.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
