**About the role**
The Project Manager provides consulting services for our life sciences client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Run multiple capital improvement construction projects in R&D lab, manufacturing, and corporate office facilities in Jacksonville, FL.
This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. **Role offers potential for hybrid schedule but requires availability onsite 5 days/week at client facility in Jacksonville, FL.**
**What youll do**
Lead Facilities construction/renovation projects and coordinated team efforts ensuring the completed projects meet company specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Lead and coordinate manufacturing equipment installation and commissioning activities.
Coordinate work of outside design engineers and construction contractors.
Maintain and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, and ISO specifications
Review and monitor project progress, quality, and safety. Work with superintendent to make corrections, as the need arises, to align with contract and company policy and procedures
Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule and landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field and broad understanding of several job subject areas within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
**What youll need**
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
+ Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project
+ Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
