Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel and various sheet metal gauges, adhering strictly to engineering specifications and blueprints.
  
  
• Expertly read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols, particularly for intricate sheet metal and stainless steel assemblies.
  
  
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair specialized machinery components, custom tooling, and equipment primarily from stainless steel and sheet metal, crucial for our paving stone production processes.
  
  
• Conduct thorough inspections of welds for quality, integrity, structural soundness, and compliance with stringent industry and company standards for stainless steel and sheet metal.
  
  
• Operate and maintain a full range of welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently, with particular emphasis on tools used for stainless steel and sheet metal.
  
  
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to identify and address specific welding and fabrication needs related to stainless steel and sheet metal applications.
  
  
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, especially those pertaining to welding stainless steel and handling sheet metal.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
