The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and Superintendent on multifamily ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover. The ideal candidate has prior experience assisting on multifamily, commercial, or residential developments and is ready to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overall project coordination from start to finish
Help manage project schedules, submittals, RFIs, and document control
Coordinate subcontractor and vendor communications
Participate in weekly OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings
Track and process change orders and purchase orders
Support the field team with daily reports, inspections, and closeout documentation
Maintain current knowledge of project drawings, specs, and scope
Use project management software for document tracking and updates
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in construction project management or field support
Experience on multifamily or commercial ground-up projects strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
