Description

Westaff is Hiring Powder Coater Painter and Welders for Sheet Metal Fabrication Company in Meriden, CT!

The ideal Powder painter will have prior painting experience or have worked the manufacturing field on a production line.

Shift: 6am- 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18-25/hr Based On Experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Applies powder coating to metal products according to production standard.

Light assembly of sheet metals

Deburring metal panel

Perform repetitive motions while painting

Ensure product is painted/cured to quality standard

Read and interpret blues and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.

Set up and operate TIG/MIG welding equipment including torches, gas tanks, and power supplies.

Weld metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium with precision using the TIG process.

Monitor welding conditions and adjust settings (voltage, wire speed, gas flow) to ensure proper welds.
