Job Summary

The OutFit is seeking a Project Manager to aid in the support of providing professional technical expertise in the broad range of areas required to successfully document, analyze, plan, and convey the meaning of the findings and recommendations involved in a complex initiative.

This is a remote position that requires periodic travel both within and outside of the United States. Travel includes two trips to Defense Health Agency (DHA) locations in San Antonio, TX, and Falls Church, VA, as well as two international trips to the Kaiserslautern Military Community in Germany. Applicants must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally as required.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead, facilitate, guide and oversee analysis and planning on multiple project types and client sectors.
  • Create/communicate relevant solutions to complex problems through thoughtful and sometimes complex analysis.
  • Engagement manager and owner of client relationships; responsible for all aspects of program performance.
  • Make creative advances that impact client performance, offering conceptual breakthroughs and thought leadership.
  • Recognized as an industry expert, offering insight to clients and colleagues.
  • Provide deep SME experience on complex and/or high- profile projects.
  • Develop project budgets and conduct negotiations.
  • Review and approve all contracts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in architecture or engineering
  • Fifteen (15)+ years experience in healthcare architecture/engineering preferably in the federal sector.

Additional Notes
  • This position is remote but requires travel to on-site government installations. The candidate should be comfortable to undergo a background investigation.
  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, excluding Government holidays. Personnel shall not work more than 80 hours in any two-week period. Subject to prior approval by the supported-facility POC or Facilities Manager, variations in work schedules are acceptable when the total hours per week are not exceeded and no obligation is incurred that would require personnel to be paid overtime. Due to the nature of performing services in support of healthcare facilities with an ongoing mission, it is occasionally necessary to work outside of clinic hours to de-conflict spaces. When it is necessary for to work outside of agreed upon daily working hours, the supervising site POC will provide written notice.

We have numerous team contracts to perform services to the US Army Corps of Engineers. We have performed services all over the US at various Medical Treatment Facilities.
