Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of a Surgical Robot. This role involves managing new product introductions, transferring designs to manufacturing, and overseeing verification and validation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and directly manage cross-functional projects that may include external resources and contracted companies.
  • Formulate and gain approval for overall project plans in consultation with program managers, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with development team members to drive accountability of project tasks and deliverables.
  • Manage program budgets, generate forecasts, and track actuals against forecasts.
  • Monitor progress to plan and implement corrective actions or contingencies as needed to maintain commitments.
Essential Skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of FDA Quality System Regulation (21 CFR 820) and EU Medical Device Regulation.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience managing DHR tracked deliverables, including incoming inspection, configuration management, and in-line inspection.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience in medical device product development from concept development through commercialization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience in managing development change control prior to commercial release.
Work Environment

The position offers remote flexibility and requires onsite presence three days a week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Some extra onsite days may be necessary during test ramp-ups. There is a potential for approximately 10% travel

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64.90 - $72.12/hr.
