Project Safety Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a Project Safety Manager with an immediate need in Pearl River, NY. With a team of 1100 professionals and offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, and Metro Park, NJ, we are dedicated to delivering excellence in our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure job sites are complying with OSHA and NYS safety standards.
  • Prepare accident safety reports and maintain records of employee OSHA and other safety certifications.
  • Maintain various AED devices throughout the region, ensuring they are inspected or replaced as necessary.
  • Prepare safety presentations and monitor the project safety program.
  • Conduct inspections and make verbal and written recommendations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and follow through to assure correction as required.
  • Research additional safety and continuing education opportunities for staff.
  • Prepare and review accident reports and investigate any serious construction accidents.
  • Review site-specific safety plans.
  • Travel required throughout the region.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 4 years of project safety experience.
  • Familiarity with applicable local, state, OSHA rules, regulations, and safety standards.
  • All necessary safety training certifications.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with OGS projects.
  • Knowledge in commercial construction.
  • OSHA 500 certification.
  • Quality control and audit compliance.
  • Construction project management.
Work Environment

The role requires travel throughout the region and involves working on site-specific safety plans and programs. The work environment is dynamic and requires regular inspections, safety meetings, and compliance with safety standards. The dress code is typically business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
