As a Superintendent, youll coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and maintain daily progress documentationall while keeping the job site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily site operations from project kickoff through punch list completion.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain a rollingtwo-week look-ahead scheduleand daily progress reports.
- Conduct and documentsafety toolbox talksand ensure site safety compliance.
- Schedule and coordinate inspections and field testing (e.g., compaction, concrete).
- Monitor work in progress and document deficiencies with photos and written reports.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and quality control standards.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients and officials.
- 5+ yearsof experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial projects.
- Strong background inretail, education, and healthcareconstruction.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and enforce quality standards.
- Proficiency inProcoreand construction documentation tools.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30certifications.
- Solid understanding of site construction and safety protocols.
- Bachelors degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience withself-perform constructionorcarpentryis a strong plus.
- Familiarity with pre-construction planning and coordination.
- Field-based role with projects locatedwithin one hour of homeno long-distance travel.
