Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Field Technician to oversee quality control operations for landfills. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring landfill operations, and conducting quality control inspections. This role requires up to 50% travel within the region to various landfill sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background , exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for environmental sustainability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in environmental science, civil engineering, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control, environmental monitoring, or related fieldwork.
  • Knowledge of landfill regulations, environmental compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with sampling techniques, laboratory testing methods, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in using computer software and applications for data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% within the region to various landfill sites.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
