Civil Drafter

We are seeking a talented CAD Technician/Designer to join our team in a small office environment. This role requires proficient interpersonal and communication skills, along with a solid work ethic and readiness to engage with computers and software, including AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications. Critical thinking and observation skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare civil construction documents using computer software.
• Prepare permit submittal documents.
• Communicate frequently via phone and email with clients, engineers, sub-consultants, and government personnel.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a civil engineering-related drafting position.
• Basic knowledge of math and geometry.

• Associate's degree or certification in Drafting and Design.
• Experience in producing construction documents.

The work environment is a small office setting where teamwork is integral. After completing the training period, there is an opportunity to work from home one day per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
