Log Loader Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Log Loader Operator to join our team at Creekside Logging, Inc.. As a Log Loader, you will play a crucial role in our logging operations, ensuring efficient and safe processing of timber.

Responsibilities:
- Operate log loaders and other heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload logs onto trucks and in designated storage areas.
- Monitor and inspect logs for defects, ensuring only the highest-quality timber is loaded.
- Collaborate with the logging team to optimize production and meet daily targets.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure its optimal performance.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.
- The operator will be responsible for greasing their machine daily along with checking fluids and blowing out air filters.

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a log loader is essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of forestry regulations and safety standards.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions and rugged terrains.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
