Machine Operator | $18-20+HR**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd Shift from 5:00 pm to 3:45 am, Monday through Thursday, with Friday shifts from 3 pm to 8 pm. The ideal candidate will set up and operate shop machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring precision and efficiency in every task.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate various shop machines following established procedures.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, job orders, routers, and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machinery.
+ Adhere to operating procedures and instructions.
+ Adjust machine settings to complete tasks per specifications, aiming to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity.
+ Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors.
+ Communicate process and quality improvements via the internal system.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work station by following the shop's 5S system.
+ Perform basic math skills including counting and using tools such as tape measures, dial calipers, and other hand tools.
+ Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and the ability to follow directions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in machine operating and setup.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Familiarity with slitter and press machines, lamination, and packaging.
+ Quality inspection skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.
+ 1+ years of experience in machine operating or manufacturing.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Experience in performing machine setups.
+ Utilizing micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Operating slitter machinery.

Work in an extremely clean manufacturing facility where everything is organized meticulously. Although the facility is not temperature controlled, fans are strategically placed throughout to maintain a comfortable working temperature.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
