Electrical Panel Builder | $20-30 HR**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of electrical panels and harnesses according to detailed work instructions. Your role will involve wiring panels to match electrical drawings, ensuring a neat and orderly layout consistently. Identifying all associated parts and assemblies, including Altronic components, will be crucial to your tasks. You will use hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, ferrule crimpers, screwdrivers, and nut drivers, along with a cordless drill for drilling and tapping holes. Reading a tape measure and making calculated dimensions as needed will be part of your daily routine. It's essential to ensure all connections are tight and torqued to specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electrical panels and harnesses as per work instructions.
+ Wire panels to match electrical drawings exactly, ensuring a neat and orderly fashion.
+ Identify all associated parts and assemblies, including Altronic components.
+ Use hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, ferrule crimpers, screwdrivers, and nut drivers.
+ Operate a cordless drill for drilling and tapping holes.
+ Read a tape measure and make calculated dimensions as needed.
+ Ensure all connections are tight and torqued to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in panel building and assembly using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.
+ Experience in wiring electrical control panels from layouts, schematics, and bills of materials.
+ Capability to lay out cabinets and subpanels, drill, tap, and assemble.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Own hand tools for wiring, including wire strippers, cutters, crimpers, and screwdrivers.
+ Company will provide any special tools needed.
