Pay Range: $26.00 - $33.00

SUMMARY

Properly services all material handling equipment in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program. Insures that all material handling equipment is operative and meets company safety standards. Provides service and repairs of material handling equipment in all areas of Distribution. Maintains a high standard of safety and sanitation within the Equipment Maintenance work area. Adheres to all company and Distribution guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide service to all material handling equipment as outlined under the current Preventative Maintenance Program.

Repair all material handling equipment with comprehensive understanding of the following: electronic theory, SCR theory and operation, transistor control, A/C control, hydraulic theory and operation, all phases of material handling equipment and repair. Must possess a high diagnostic ability of electronics and also have a high proficiency in all phases in trouble shooting and diagnostic work.

Basic mig welding and acc torch usage to include general steel fabrication and cutting and burning.

Perform Raymond and Crown warranty repairs in accordance with manufactureras guidelines and time requirements.

Work on store equipment when needed

Serve in the capacity of road service mechanic when designated.

Completes, upon finishing a repair function, the proper paperwork which identifies the equipment repaired, man hours used, and the repair parts used for every work order.

Clean and maintain the Equipment Maintenance Work area, upon completion of each repair or service function.

Responsible for supplying and maintaining all personal hand tools for day-to-day duties and activities.

Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all times.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age

Valid Drivers License required

Fork Lift Operators License required

Satisfactory performance reviews

Strong communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2+ years of related experience preferred in material handling equipment service and repair.
