Electrician Apprentice - Riddle Plywood

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call and rotating shifts, and holidays
• Troubleshooting experience
• Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation
• Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders - physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which includes climbing stair, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 49 pounds, stooping and bending
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
• Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment
• A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
• Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues
• Models company core values

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical school certificate in related area
• Past employment experience in manufacturing environment
• Past employment in a plywood or veneer manufacturing facility
• Experience with CMMS
• Knowledge of fire protection systems
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instruments
• Excellent skills in root cause analysis
• Team oriented
• Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills
