Pipefitter**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to install and fit PVC and other piping materials for radon mitigation systems. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, as well as measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes using both hand and power tools. Collaboration with mitigation technicians is vital to ensure proper system design and installation. Additionally, you will inspect and test piping systems for leaks and proper airflow, maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes. Effective communication with clients and team members regarding job progress is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install and fit PVC and other piping materials for radon mitigation systems.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

+ Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.

+ Collaborate with mitigation technicians to ensure proper system design and installation.

+ Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and proper airflow.

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.

+ Communicate effectively with clients and team members on job progress.

**Essential Skills**

+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

+ 2+ years of pipefitting experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or radon mitigation.

+ Proficiency with PVC piping and ventilation systems.

+ Ability to work in crawl spaces, basements, and attics.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
