Welder**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing barges that support marine construction. As a welder, you will start in the parts department, welding various components essential to barge construction. Once proficient, you will transition to the barge manufacturing area, which involves climbing and working at heights of 10-12 feet.

**Responsibilities**

+ Weld various parts in the parts department that contribute to barge construction.

+ Transition to the physical manufacturing area of the barges once comfortable in parts welding.

+ Perform welds at heights of 10-12 feet, requiring physical agility and comfort with climbing.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1+ years of MIG welding experience, including horizontal and vertical welds.

+ Proficiency in welding heavy steel.

+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

+ Comfort with the physical demands of the job, including climbing and lifting.

+ Possession of personal welding hood.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Understanding of blueprints.

+ Knowledge of welding symbols.

+ Possession of any welding certifications.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
