CNC Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator for our steel manufacturing facility located in Elkhart, IN. This position is for the 1st shift and requires a skilled professional to operate CNC machinery efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load parts or weldments into CNC machinery using a forklift.
+ Set up CNC machines with the proper tooling, such as drill bits.
+ Change out spindles and make minor adjustments to CNC machines.
+ Read blueprints on a computer or tablet and adjust programs as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous experience operating CNC machinery.
+ Knowledge of blueprints and basic G&M code, with the ability to adjust programs.
+ Proficiency in using calipers and reading tape measures (a test will be administered during the interview).
+ Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
+ Comfort with monotonous tasks, such as monitoring machines for extended periods.
+ Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working in a fabrication environment.
+ Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
+ Knowledge of G&M code programming.
