Machine Tool Electrician Job Description The Machine Tool Electrician plays a critical role in electrical panel building and fine wiring. This position involves drilling, tapping, and fitting components into enclosures created by mechanical builders, with some soldering required. The role requires handling voltages ranging from 24v to 480v depending on the build. Electrical assembly tasks include running conduit, tool cords, pulling cables, working with robotic systems, and ethernet cabling. The position involves making micro holes and precision designs for machines. Responsibilities Build and wire electrical panels. Drill, tap, and fit components into enclosures. Perform soldering tasks as required. Handle voltages ranging from 24v to 480v. Conduct electrical assembly, including running conduit and tool cords. Pull cables and work with robotic systems. Perform ethernet cabling and precision designs. Essential Skills 5 years of experience in machine tooling. Proficiency in soldering with 5 years of experience. Experience in electrical assembly and machine tool operations. Ability to fabricate, weld, and troubleshoot systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Experience with control panel building and wiring. Knowledge of wiring schematics and repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have own tools. Ability to work independently and jump right into tasks with minimal training. Experience with robotic systems and ethernet cabling. Why Work Here? The shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with occasional Saturday hours from 6:00am to 11:00am. Enjoy scheduled breaks, including a 15-minute break at 8:30am and a lunch break from 12:00pm to 12:30pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
