General Laborer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. This role involves preparing extruded aluminum to be loaded into paint booths and ovens for drying, and removing cooled and dried aluminum pieces from racks. The position requires ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications, checking for defects, scrapping defective materials, and using a forklift for material transfer.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work with large industrial equipment.
+ Wear personal protective equipment such as ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots at all times.
+ Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system.
+ Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
+ Adhere to and promote all safety requirements.
+ Read and understand dimensional prints.
+ Operate measuring devices.
+ Operate a forklift.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in general labor and production.
+ Knowledge of measuring tools and paint preparation systems.
+ High degree of independence and accountability.
+ Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Proficient in simple calculations.
+ Effective communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.
+ Physical ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
+ Capacity to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
