Welder - 1st Shift

What you will do as a Welder :

Perform routine and repetitive MIG arc welding operations, certification not required

Operate welding equipment, adjusting current, voltage, gas, and feed rate for proper metal fusion

Plan and layout welding sequence based on drawings, blueprints, or specifications

Layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tools like rules, squares, scribes, or templates

Ensure proper clamping of parts in alignment with specifications or drawings

Position and secure pieces to be welded using jigs, guides, and measuring instruments

custom fabrication skills for moderately complex orders after a training period

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to documented safety guidelines

Support the company's quality and customer service strategy in the commercial door and hardware industry

What you need to be a Welder :

MIG welding experience or the ability to operate welding equipment effectively

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Familiarity with measuring instruments, portable power, and hand tools

Custom fabrication skills or willingness to develop these through training

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required

Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols

Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while supporting team goals

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow company procedures
