Join the production team of a nationally recognized plastics manufacturer specializing in high-quality thermoplastic sheets used in commercial, industrial, and architectural applications. We're hiring dependable Machine Operators to assist in the manufacturing of acrylic, polycarbonate, and other plastic sheet products using advanced extrusion machinery.
Job Duties :
Operate extrusion lines to produce plastic sheet products to spec
Monitor line speed, temperatures, and product thickness for quality assurance
Count, inspect, and package finished plastic sheets accurately
Detect and report quality defects such as scratches, warping, or contamination
Assist with material handling, including peeling protective film and feeding scrap into industrial grinders
Maintain clean and organized work area, including regular equipment wipe-downs
Support team members and follow direction from line leads
Communicate mechanical or maintenance concerns promptly
Perform startup and shutdown procedures on sheet lines
Clean grinders and other machines following lock-out / tag-out procedures
Follow all plant safety policies and procedures
Requirements :
Ability to understand production schedules and basic technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and a steady work pace
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Comfortable working in a high-heat, high-noise environment
Solid attendance and work history
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience a plus
Willingness to work overtime as needed

16.00 per hour
Schedule : 12-hour shifts - rotating (on 2, off 2, on 3, off 2)
1st Shift : 4 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
2nd Shift : 4 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a drug screen
