Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including flooring installation, remodeling, and fixture installation. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate carpentry projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
Perform flooring installation, framing carpentry, and fixture installation as needed, tile installation, painting, shower and tub waterproofing system, light plumbing and electrical etc.
Fabricate and assemble structures according to blueprints and project requirements.
Conduct remodeling tasks, including restoration and repair of existing structures.
Oversee the caulking process for sealing joints and gaps in various installations.
Train and mentor junior carpenters on best practices and safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in flooring installation, remodeling, fabrication, roof assembly, frame carpentry, fixture installation, restoration, and caulking.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
