Trillium Construction is seeking Millwright Welders for a project in Portsmouth, VA.
Key Responsibilities
Rig, move, set, and align industrial machinery and equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain gearboxes, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, and other rotating equipment.
Perform precision alignment using dial indicators or laser alignment tools.
Assemble and install structural steel packages as needed.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely.
Perform welding/fabrication (if qualified, SMAW 7018 test required).
Pay rate is up to $35/hour. Schedule is Mon - Sun, 60h / week.
Qualifications
- Pre-employment screenings
- Weld test
Required Certifications:
- OSHA 10
- Aerial Lifts (Scissor, Boom)
- TWIC Card
Preferred Certifications:
- Confined Space
- First Aid
- Fork Lift
- NCCER
