Trillium Construction is seeking combo welders in Baton Rouge, LA.

The Combination Welder is responsible for welding, assembling, and fabricating metal components using multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW). This role supports the production of structural and custom metal products by interpreting blueprints, fitting parts, and completing welds to high quality and safety standards.

Duties:

-Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols

Fit and tack components into place prior to welding

Use cutting torches, grinders, saws, and other shop tools to prepare materials

Inspect welds for conformance to specifications and make necessary repairs or adjustments

Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition

Follow all shop safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and quality inspectors to ensure product accuracy and quality

- Complete welding documentation and quality reports as required

Pay: $32+/hr (depending on experience). Schedule: Monday-Saturday 60 hours a week.

Qualifications:

2+ years relevant experience

Strong mathematical & measurement skills

Must be able to pass SMAW, GMAW, FCAW testing

- Able to Pass pre-screenings
