Location/Area: Lexington Downtown Commercial District Project duration is expected to be 8 months. Site Superintendent & Site Safety Health Officer The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site, capable of managing subcontractors, have experience as a Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) and be in Lexington, KY or willing to relocate to it for the duration of this project. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas to maintain an on-time project, and the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in understanding construction drawings, a critical path schedule and communicating project milestones with clients and other parties. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily construction operations Development, implementation, oversight, and enforcement of the Accident Prevention Plan Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed Communicate project progress with clients and project managers Manage subcontractors and construction site organization Daily construction and safety reports Qualifications 5+ years as a construction superintendent 2+ years as a SSHO Strong project management and communications skills OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain Ability to read construction documents Experience supporting federal construction contracts strongly preferred Familiarity with regulatory construction standards Miami Nation Enterprises is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
