Our construction company is growing, and we are looking to add a safety inspector to the team.

The job duties include but are not limited to:

Conducting new hire follow-ups

Assisting with building inspections

Assisting with jobsite inspections

Accident investigations

Assisting with training as needed

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations

Ensuring site safety polices/programs/procedures are being adhered to

Follow up on corrective actions

Assist with the implementation of current and new safety programs

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and highly motivated. They will possess the ability to perform work to a satisfactory level while working in both field and office settings. They should be able to work collaboratively with different levels from field personnel to management. Be willing to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions and be willing to travel. This job is based out of our Mishawka, IN office but will require travel to jobsites potentially located in Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio.

Experience:

Associate degree in environmental, Health, and Safety OR 2-3 year working experience in EHS or construction environment beneficial.

Experience or working knowledge of electrical or fiber optic processes are beneficial
