Clear Pathways, an initiative of Peg's Foundation, seeks to contract a 1099 independent consultant to serve as Senior Project Manager for approximately 32 hours per week . Hourly consulting rates are commensurate with experience. Preference will be given to applicants who apply by August 15, 2025 . Role Summary The Senior Project Manager is a highly collaborative role responsible for guiding and supporting complex, multi-stakeholder projects related to behavioral health systems transformation in Ohio. This position works in partnership with the Director of Planning and Implementation to help carry out the strategic vision for project management. This position requires an individual who has proven experience in project management, healthcare systems, and cross-functional collaboration, with demonstrated capability to manage projects effectively in changing environments. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to navigate logistics across multiple teams and levels of the organization, and the flexibility to manage shifting priorities across initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead project planning, execution, and closure across multiple initiatives Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and deliverables Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration Support correspondence and scheduling with internal team and external partners or clients Oversee compliance, reporting, and quality assurance processes Maintain comprehensive project files and documentation Utilize data analytics via project management tools and CRM software to evaluate project performance and present findings through interactive dashboards Create compelling presentations, reports, and visual materials using Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva Support strategic planning and implementation of scalable, sustainable systems change Support development of project-related materials such as proposals, reports, and/or presentations Collect, organize, and help analyze data to support project deliverables Review documents and deliverables for accuracy, formatting consistency, and adherence to style guidelines Mentor junior staff and contribute to organizational learning and improvement Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in public administration, health policy, social sciences, or a related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. Requires ten (10) years of prior experience in project management, strategic operations, or healthcare program implementation at a nonprofit, foundation, government, or similarly relevant industry position; prior experience working and engaging with public sector clients is preferred; Requires high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Visio, and virtual communications/collaboration or project management platforms Expertise in Medicaid and behavioral health systems preferred; Experience with Agile and PMBOK methodologies preferred; Experience with CRM software preferred; Strong organizational, project management and execution skills; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; Physical / Environmental Requirements This is a remote position. A suitable home working environment and computer equipment are required. May require up to 10% travel for in-person convenings. 1099 independent contractor is preferred at an estimated 32 hours per week.
