CNC Operator/Inspection

Seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a 1st shift position in the Jackson, MI area. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience operating CNC machinery and quality control. Paying $15-$17/hr.

CNC Operator/Inspection Details:

Temp-to-Hire position

$15.00 /hour

Full Time work available

First Shift (Monday through Friday)

1st shift Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm & Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

As a CNC Operator Machinist, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

Producing precision components using CNC lathes with bar feeder.

CNC Mill

Maintaining quality documentation for the product being produced.

Maintaining tooling during production which requires the ability to change insert style tools

Measuring products using micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers & optical comparators.

Maintaining work area to ensure a clean, safe, organized work environment.

Inspection/Packaging

Assemble parts per shipping Instructions

Adding various components: O Rings, Caps, Nuts/Sleeves

Pack in appropriate Box with label per shipping Instructions.

Help get parts from the parts washers to the Boxing stations.

Sorting parts while doing visual inspection and using air hose if needed to remove shavings and other particles.

Put parts in specified containers, document part no., qty. and heat no. on proper container.

Move boxes of parts from the boxing station to the Shipping Department.

Visual Inspection of Parts ran on CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, and Screw Machines.

Blueprint reading

Use of micrometers, calipers, and other various gauges

CNC Operator/Inspection Qualifications:

Able to read and understand Blueprints

Able to read Measuring Equipment such as Micrometer, Caliper, Profilometers and Comparators.

Needs to have CNC Experience.

Manufacturing experience.

Quality Inspection Experience.
