The Estimator Position: Our company is expanding its team and looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team. The Estimator is responsible for evaluating project plans, performing material takeoffs, and generating accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing in commercial and industrial construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring competitive, profitable bids and supporting the success of our projects from start to finish. Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities: Technical understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations. Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating or a related construction role is preferred.
