About Us We are a small, woman-owned civil engineering firm based in Bend, Oregon. We specialize in land development projects that emphasize community and thoughtful design. Position Overview We're seeking a highly motivated Engineer -either a Project Engineer or Project Manager , depending on experience-to join our growing team. You'll take projects from early feasibility through design and construction, often serving as the primary point of contact with clients, permitting agencies, and partners. While this is a remote position, we require candidates to be based in Central Oregon and familiar with the regional development landscape-particularly the City of Bend permitting process . Key Responsibilities Manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction Prepare technical plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D Coordinate and submit permits for public and private development Communicate directly with clients, city agencies, and contractors Track project schedules, tasks, and deliverables Contribute to a collaborative, small-team work culture Requirements Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience EIT certification required ; PE license preferred Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D Experience in City of Bend permitting and navigating Central Oregon agency processes Understanding of land use, design, and construction permitting Strong organizational and communication skills Self-starter comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision Must reside in Central Oregon (Bend, Redmond, La Pine, etc.) Preferred Qualifications PE license in Oregon Experience in residential or mixed-use land development Familiarity with stormwater, grading, utility design, and platting Previous work in a small firm or fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Fully remote, flexible work environment Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to shape meaningful community development projects Collaborative team with mentorship and growth potential
