Electrical Project Engineer (Remote - Denver Metro Preferred) A small, family-owned electrical engineering firm with a strong reputation in the Denver area is seeking a Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing team. With a long-standing portfolio in K-12 schools and other public projects, the firm is looking for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn and grow alongside experienced leadership. The role includes involvement in all project phases-from schematic design through construction administration. While primarily remote, the position requires occasional in-person meetings or site visits, typically within the Denver area. Project Types Include: K-12 schools (ongoing expansion) Sports and recreation facilities Labs, offices, and light industrial spaces Libraries, retail, hospitality, and multi-family residential Historic renovations Current Projects in Design: Deep-green remodel for East Boulder Recreation Center Remodel of the Englewood Recreation Center Outdoor pool renovation in Centennial Cooling and electrical upgrades for Denver Public Schools Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering 2+ years of experience in electrical systems design Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Familiar with power and lighting systems and specification writing Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented Strong preference for candidates in the Denver metro area Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design of power and lighting systems Coordinate with mechanical engineers and architects Participate in design meetings with the project manager Conduct site visits and assist with construction observations and punch walks What the Company Offers: Fully remote work with flexible hours Three weeks of paid vacation All federal holidays off Company-wide closure between Christmas and New Year's Simple IRA with company match Health and dental benefits Supportive mentorship and professional development
