Project Manager Highways and Heavy Civils Suffolk Up to 70,000 plus benefits We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure schemes across Suffolk and Essex. Key Responsibilities As a Project Manager, oversee site teams, operatives and subcontractors on road and highway schemes Prepare method statements, risk assessments and project management plans Understand tender allowances, monitor costs and deliver projects within agreed budgets Manage programmes of work, design coordination, subcontractor engagement and client relationships As a Project Manager, ensure contracts are delivered on time, safely and profitably Mentor and support junior staff to develop their careers As a Project Manager, maintain strong client relationships and represent the business professionally Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor, specifically on highways/roads projects Strong leadership, communication and team management skills Relevant qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent), SMSTS, CSCS and ideally Temporary Works Coordinator First Aid at Work and knowledge of NEC contracts are desirable The Project Manager must be eligible to work in the UK Benefits Life assurance (4x salary) Company car/allowance Pension (matched up to 8%) 25 days holiday + bank holidays Training and development support This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager looking to progress their career with a supportive and forward-thinking employer, delivering key infrastructure improvements across the Eastern region.
