Are you an experienced Auto Body Painter?

Loadmaster is looking to add experienced painters on its weekday and weekend shifts.

Loadmaster is a rapidly growing national manufacturer of refuse trucks with customers all over the country. Garbage never stops, it always needs to be picked up no matter the weather or the economy and our products play an integral role in that process. Some of our customers include major cities and hauling companies who depend on our products in order to keep their cities, parks, and towns clean and healthy.

We are hiring for full-time positions in the paint department.

Summary

Performs skilled work using drawings, fixtures, cranes, hand tools in the production of trucks. Responsible for coaching and training the department personnel ensuring the department achieves daily production goals.

Essential Functions

  • Experience managing teammates in a manufacturing environment
  • Assigns daily and weekly production goals to department employees
  • Ability to properly use measuring tools such as caliper, tape measure, plug gauges, and combination squares
  • Work from blueprints, schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, prints, pick lists, BOM's, photos and instructions
  • Assemble/Maintain quality standards of finished products to confirm product is within specifications
  • Attention to detail to ensure weekly production goals are met
  • Follows set health and safety requirements, and carries out daily maintenance and repairs
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

All employees are expected to have a friendly, positive attitude, a sense of urgency, and the ability to multi-task and solve problems. The following qualifications are required for this position.

  • Must be able to pass a background screening and drug screening
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to operate a forklift/powered industrial truck

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Spraying primer
  • Spraying paint
  • Spreading and sanding filler
  • Prepping units for paint

Pre-employment drug testing required

We work (4) ten hour shifts Monday through Thursday and over time on Friday's as needed.

Looking for individuals that have a familiarity with automotive and/or industrial painting equipment.

Previous automotive or industrial painting experience required.
