Electrical Engineer

Description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the care and feeding of Drones and designing new electronic systems for them. They will also work on maintenance and upgrades of the current fleet in addition to their work on new builds. Air Systems - Electrical Engineer, designing and developing our state-of-the-art, eco-conscious UAS fleet, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and safety for groundbreaking aerial solutions for the transmission industry in partnership with utilities and contractors. Apply electrical engineering knowledge to the design and development of new products as well as product changes andenhancements. Conduct electrical circuit and system-level design analysis, embedded systems hardware testing and electrical circuit troubleshooting. Develop test simulations, test methods and perform required testing or data collection Conduct root cause failure analysis at the component through system level Support continuation engineering of existing released products Perform reliability analysis leading to product quality improvement Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes Give detailed project estimates for time and cost Work with outside design partners and vendors for new product designs and maintain current products Maintain technical coordination with Engineering, products design, test, EMC engineering and manufacturing. Work with other engineering, manufacturing, sales / marketing, and quality assurance staff to coordinate pilot production of new products Provide engineering support to factory/customer support Provide and coordinate engineering support for prototype builds and lab testing Write test plans and procedures for manufacturing and testing. Maintain currency on all relevant safety and electrical compliance standards and educate the team when changes occur.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
