Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturingpany in Keene, NH to hire additional experienced Sheet Metal Operator on 1st shift!
Pay: $17-$22 an hour depending on experience
Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday (OT Available)
Job Overview:
As a Sheet Metal Operator, you will be essential in the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise in operating hydraulic shear and press brake machines. ing to the Production Supervisor, your role involves precision machining and quality inspection, ensuring thatponents meet production specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate hydraulic shear and press brake machines to cut, bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
Read and interpret blues, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements.
Measure and inspectpleted parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machine to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
Operate forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
Program job specifications into the press brake machine controls to ensure precise bending operations.
Assist with other manufacturing tasks such as welding, stamping press operation, tooling assembly, and laser cutting as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience as a Shear or Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blues, engineering drawings, and work orders.
Strong knowledge of press brake machine operation and setup procedures.
Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Familiarity with stamping press operation, tooling assembly, laser cutting, and GD&T principles is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour
