The Plumbing Superintendent, under the direction of the Plumbing Operations Manager, manages plumbing scope and crew for mid-sized commercial projects. Works directly with the Project Manager and Field Supervisor for each job to ensure a profitable, compliant job. Must be able to communicate effectively with contractor and other trades with the ability of quick troubleshooting, the ability to read and fully comprehend blueprints, weekly to biweekly material orders, line out work assignments for onsite plumbing team, daily reports, daily JHAs, and timesheets, and perform all the work on schedule and within budget.

Responsible and is accountable for the timely completion of the project(s) and ensuring that the project(s) is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and budgets
Manages and facilitates all project phases from planning through final construction, including manpower requirements, early project activities, and warranty with the Operations Manager, Project Manager(s), and Superintendent
Oversees, identifies, and manages self-perform performance by all employees, providing support and assistance as necessary, including training
Responsible and is accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and budgets
Provides direction and resolves problems between subcontractors, clients, and employees
Identifies inefficient and deficient work and provides prompt and effective resolution
Provides guidance in implementation for company quality control, quality assurance and that safety practices are being performed - documentation required (QC/QA/Safety)
Confirms field reports, daily reports, as-built drawings, inspections, and punch list documentation are being performed and are current and up-to-date
Communicates job requirements and job progress at weekly meetings with Operations Manager and Project Managers
Responsible for minimizing and eliminating company risk by managing and maintaining the highest standards of practice
May occasionally perform hands-on work, where necessary

1. Meet business objectives KPI maintain or improve project locked-in buy-out margin. No financial losses on projects due to poor field execution and practices, documented by PM in job cost action reports.
2. Risk management KPI Ability to recognize, avoid, and mitigate risks that cause production delays and cost impacts. Materialized risks management versus projected risks and their cost impact positive or negative
3. Change Management KPI Ability to control scope, schedule, and budget changes through diligent everyday operations and communications. Maintain or improve margin (profit) through change management and cost control. Margin drops or increases due to performing work not covered by our contract.

Proficient in using the Internet to research information, as well as MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS Word, Vista, Bluebeam Revu iPad and computer
Minimum Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of established commercial plumbing construction and installation practices, processes, and techniques as well as applicable local, state, and federal building codes
Capable of managing a job site and crew of approximately 5 25 people and 100k-4M in scope without immediate supervision and ability to perform tasks as instructed following safe OSHA-compliant regulations
Minimum 5 Years Supervisory experience
Strong communication skills, thorough and attentive to details, able to prioritize and multitask, proactive and deadline-oriented
Ability to interact effectively with General Contractors and internal Sluss + Padgett personnel at all levels of the organization
Demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills
Possesses excellent problem-solving skills
Must have expert knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. Upholds safety program standards
Must have excellent ability to anticipate and be proactive to minimize conflict, problem field conditions, errors, and omission issues on drawings and specifications
Requires a Georgia license or ability to obtain within one year
Requires OSHA 30 Certification
Requires CPR / First Aid certification
Operates aerial lifts, forklifts, backhoe/excavator equipment, Bobcat, and others
Capable of providing all required hand tools
Ability to read jobsite blueprints and detailed list of work scopes
Ability to safely work from heights using a ladder, scaffolding, lifts, etc.
Ability to work abnormal hours when required
Must have basic computer skills, including iPad
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
