What You'll Do

• Oversee projects from start to finish, interfacing with clients and internal teams on technical matters.
• Conduct and review field surveys, analyzing land features, elevations, and structures.
• Verify field data accuracy and maintain digital files with current datasets.
• Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment including GPS, total stations, and robotics.
• Train and mentor junior technicians when needed.
• Ensure safety is always the top priority by following all safe work practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering plans and construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct topographical, boundary, and ALTA surveys.
• Utilize public records and field notes to support survey work.
• Provide innovative solutions to civil site design challenges.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional survey experience
• Proven ability to lead field crews and manage survey operations
• Proficiency in:
  • Boundary and construction surveying
  • GPS/Robotics (Trimble, Carlson)
  • Total stations and electronic measuring devices
• Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to train and mentor new techs

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
