- Ensure compliance with global construction safety policies and high-risk activity management plans, including Safety Performance Standards documentation.
- Conduct regular on-site safety observations to assess compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage in Level 1, 2, and 3 project task and field-level planning meetings, as well as three-week lookahead planning sessions and daily activity briefings.
- Guide GC leadership in safety practices by facilitating training sessions and workshops.
- Influence and coach GC teams to empower them while allowing autonomy in managing operations.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external teams, to ensure effective collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement of safety standards by researching and implementing industry best practices.
- Promote a growth mindset within the team, encouraging continuous learning, adaptability, and resilience.
- 8+ years of experience in safety management, with a focus on construction or project environments.
- Proficiency with data center construction safety protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certifications preferred.
- Degree or safety certifications required.
- Experience with hyperscale data center projects.
